Premios WISE

La Fundación Qatar abrió la convocatoria de los Premios WISE 2010, diseñados para apoyar la práctica y los logros sobresalientes en el tema de la transformación de la educación: inversión, innovación e inclusión. La fecha de cierre es el 15 de julio de 2010.
El proceso de aplicación está abierto a individuos o equipos de personas de todo el mundo y en todos los sectores de educación.
El proceso de solicitud está diseñado para generar seis premios, de los cuales cada ganador recibirá un premio de 20.000 dólares en la Cena de Gala el 8 de diciembre de 2010. Los beneficiarios también tendrán la oportunidad de mostrar sus proyectos durante la Cumbre de WISE, que se celebrará en Doha 7-9 diciembre de 2010.

Innovative Education Practice Awards

Call for Applications : 15 May – 15 July 2010

 The WISE Awards 2010 are designed to support outstanding practice and achievement within the theme of Transforming Education: Investment, Innovation and Inclusion.
WISE differentiates itself from other initiatives through its focus on concrete action-oriented educational activities that have had a wider transformative impact on societies.
The 2010 WISE Awards application process is designed to generate six Awards. Each of the six recipients will receive a WISE Prize Award of $20,000 at the Gala Dinner on 8 December 2010. Recipients will also be given the opportunity to showcase their projects during the WISE Summit to be held in Doha from 7 to 9 December 2010.
The WISE Awards application process is open to individuals or teams of individuals from across the world and across all education sectors (apart from previous WISE Award winners). A letter of endorsement from the head (or nominated deputy) of the applicant’s organisation or institution must accompany each application. Incomplete applications will be deemed to be ineligible and will not be considered.
Applications must be submitted on the application form (available on 15 May) with a closing date of 15 July 2010. 
Thirty finalists will be announced by mid August 2010, and they will be invited to submit more detailed applications. The six prize winners will be selected from these finalists.
The Application Form and Regulations in Arabic, French and Spanish will be available for download from 15 May 2010.
