International Cooperation for Development and Solidarity (CIDSE) is an international coalition of 17 Catholic development agencies based in Belgium that focuses on issues of advocacy, development, and education. Founded on Christian values, CIDSE works in close conjunction with numerous faith-based networks and organizations worldwide to strengthen their moral voice and influence political decisions in institutions such as the EU, UN, WTO, and international financial institutions. The ultimate goal of CIDSE is to eliminate poverty and bring about social justice through a common strategy. The organization deals primarily with development finance, climate justice, just food, and business and human rights.
