Endeavour Scholarships y Fellowships 2015 en Australia

Sin títuloEl Gobierno de Australia tiene abierta su convocatoria Endeavour Scholarships y Fellowships cuyo objetivo principal es crear lazos entre ciudadanos del mundo y Australia, a partir de  becas de estudio, investigación o desarrollo profesional. La fecha de cierre es el 30 de junio de 2014.

El apoyo financiará el viaje y residencia en Australia, seguro de viajero, matrícula y cuota del establecimiento de estudio, y un estipendio mensual. Las solicitudes deben cumplir con los siguientes requisitos: continuar con el desarrollo educativo; facilitar la investigación y relaciones profesionales de individuos y organizaciones; mejorar la conciencia global, contribuir a la alta calidad en educación, innovación y educación que promueve Australia; y aumentar la productividad del país a través de del estudio, investigación o desarrollo profesional internacional.

Para ser admitidos, los solicitantes deberán reunir los siguientes requisitos: ser mayor de 18 años, comenzar su programa después del 1 de enero y antes del 30 de noviembre de 2015, no haber tenido financiación del gobierno australiano desde el 1 de enero de 2013; demostrar fluidez en lengua inglesa, y presentar toda la documentación solicitada.

Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships provided by the Australian Government that support citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia and for Australians to undertake these programmes overseas. The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships programme forms part of the Australia Awards initiative established in 2009, which brings together under one banner scholarships offered by the Department of Education (the Department), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships build Australia’s reputation for excellence in the provision of education, support the internationalisation of the Australian higher education and research sectors and offer high-achieving Australians opportunities to increase their knowledge and expertise in their field.

Applications for the 2015 Round

Applications for the 2015 Round of the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are now open. Applications will close 30 June 2014 at 11:59 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

What the programme offers

As a scholarship or fellowship recipient, you will gain invaluable international experience in study, research or professional development. Australian recipients also receive support to undertake targeted research, professional development or internships overseas. The Department has engaged a contractor to provide post-selection support services to all recipients including: a dedicated case manager; pre-departure briefings; provision of advice on health; travel insurance; accommodation; security; payment of allowances; and reporting to the Department on the recipient’s progress.
