Falling Walls tiene abierta la convocatoria para el Fellowship en Ciencia para Periodistas, cuyo objetivo principal es informar al público sobre las innovaciones científicas. La fecha de cierre es el 31 de Julio de 2014
Falling Walls cubrirá los costos de viaje en clase económica, tres noches de hospedaje, comidas, y la matrícula de la conferencia.
Para ser admitidos, los solicitantes deberán reunir los siguientes requisitos: ser periodista independiente y a tiempo completo, o blogueros. Deberán tener un mínimo de tres años de experiencia profesional en periodismo o blogging, donde se especialicen en temas de ciencia. No serán elegibles los profesionales en campos como investigación, enseñanza, relaciones públicas o publicidad.
Para inscribirse los participantes deberán completar el formulario online, subir dos ejemplos de su trabajo, su curriculum vitae y una carta de presentación donde expliquen su motivación para asistir a la conferencia. Para consultas sobre la postulación escribir a fellowship@falling-walls.com.

In an effort to keep the public informed on life-changing scientific breakthroughs, we have created the Falling Walls Science Fellowship for Journalists. It is aimed at journalists and bloggers with at least three years of experience, and who hope to advance their knowledge in the area of sciences. The Fellows get the opportunity to attend the Falling Walls Lab, Falling Walls Venture and the Falling Walls Conference on 8 and 9 November 2014 in Berlin.
The fellowship includes direct travel expenses (economy class), hotel room for 3 nights (organised by Falling Walls Foundation), conference fees and meals (breakfast at hotel, catering during the Falling Walls events).
Eligibility
Freelance and full-time journalists or bloggers can apply. Professionals in fields such as research, teaching, public relations and advertising are not eligible. The applicants must have a minimum of three years professional journalism/blogging experience in which they have written about the subject of sciences.
Application Information
Applicants must complete the online form and submit two work samples together with a CV and cover letter (in English) stating their motivation to apply for the fellowship by 31 July 2014.
