Global Fund for Children tiene abierta la convocatoria para su Fondo, cuyo objetivo principal es generar mejoras sostenibles en la vida de niños y jóvenes vulnerables y replicar la experiencia en otras organizaciones. No tiene fecha de cierre.
El fondo comprende una asignación máxima de 200,000 dólares estadounidenses. Los nuevos socios beneficiarios tienen un presupuesto en el rango entre 25,000 y 75,000 dólares estadounidenses. Se incentiva a organizaciones que se encuentran en sus primeras etapas de desarrollo. Las organizaciones deben trabajar de forma directa con jóvenes y niños para recibir el fondo.
Los solicitantes deberán reunir los siguientes requisitos: Participación directa con niños y jóvenes; Capacidad de gestión y administración de los fondos; Liderazgo local: se priorizará a aquellos líderes que hayan nacido y crecido en la comunidad a la que asisten; y Situación legal: la organización debe estar registrada a nivel local o nacional. Se priorizan aquellos organizaciones que trabajen temáticas como un enfoque en los más vulnerables, participación de la comunidad, eficacia, empoderamiento, innovación y creatividad, un liderazgo fuerte, adaptabilidad, potencial para la sostenibilidad, y reputación.

APPLY FOR A GRANT
We’re glad you are interested in applying for a grant from The Global Fund for Children. Here is everything you need to know:
STEP 1:
Carefully review our eligibility criteria and selection guidelines.
This is an essential step in determining whether you should take the time to get in touch with us.
STEP 2:
Submit a letter of inquiry.
All potential grantee partners are required to submit a preliminary letter of inquiry, which may be submitted at any time during the year. We use this letter to determine basic eligibility and fit with our selection criteria. Please note that the form cannot load in some internet browsers. If the form does not load, please try accessing it in Google Chrome.
STEP 3:
Wait for confirmation from us—if it’s a good fit, we’ll contact you.
If a letter of inquiry falls within our priorities and selection criteria, we will follow up with the organization to solicit a full proposal. Full proposals are accepted by invitation only.
Do not contact us by phone or by email to ask about the status of your letter of inquiry. Due to the volume of inquiries, we cannot respond individually to those not selected for further consideration.
STEP 4:
Complete your paperwork.
If the full proposal is approved, we will issue a letter of agreement to the grantee partner, outlining the terms and conditions of the grant. Grantee partners must submit a progress report after nine months and a final report after twelve months, as detailed in the letter of agreement. We will provide specific guidelines for these reports. Failure to submit a report by the due date may result in ineligibility for future grants.
