This is a great opportunity to strengthen your school’s performance in maths!

The Welsh Government is providing grant funding through mathcymru for schools to develop and run numerical reasoning projects in celebration of World Maths Day.

The projects must be completed by 31 March 2015.

All applications must be submitted on the official application form. The success of an application will be heavily dependent on matching the criteria — please see the guidelines.

All applications must be approved by the school’s Headteacher. Only one application per school will be permitted, although projects incorporating more than one activity are encouraged.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 4 December 2014.

All applicants will be notified whether they have been successful or not by Thursday 18 December 2014.

All 2015 funded projects will be featured on the mathcymru website in May 2015
