Fellowships in Assistive Technologies in Autism and Intellectual Disability

A new fellowship opportunity is now available for researchers working in the area of assistive technologies for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. ASSISTID is a €9M Marie Curie collaborative research programme to develop Assistive Technologies for Intellectual Disability and Autism and is cofunded by the European Commission and the Irish charity RESPECT. It is the largest programme of its kind in Europe and will train experienced researchers in the skills necessary to make a difference in the lives of people with autism and intellectual disability (ID) through improved communication, social inclusion and education. This is the first time a network of multidisciplinary researchers have come together on this scale to collaborate and develop assistive technologies for those with autism and ID.
