International Bridges to Justice (IBJ): Fellowships Hacedores de Justicia -JusticeMakers Competition 2014

justice2014 Applications “International Bridges to Justice is dedicated to protecting the basic legal rights of ordinary citizens in developing countries. Specifically, IBJ works to guarantee all citizens the right to competent legal representation, the right to be protected from cruel and unusual punishment, and the right to a fair trial.” (International Bridges to Justice Mission Statement)

In pursuit of its mission, IBJ would like to give any potential JusticeMaker the opportunity to become a part of the JusticeMakers community. We understand that our annual competition parameters limit the applicant pool, and we want to reach beyond those parameters to connect with the highest number of JusticeMakers possible. Do you have an innovative idea to prevent the use of torture in detention centers? Or instead accelerate early access to counsel? Does your idea fit in with IBJ’s mission in another way? You could be eligible to apply for JusticeMakers through its rolling application process!

The rolling application has no deadline, and no geographic or thematic parameters, but the applications will be screened and judged in the same fashion as the proposals for the annual JusticeMakers Competitions are. The JusticeMakers team encourages any potential JusticeMaker to apply!
